Nepal Myths & Mountain Trails update

This is Ngima Dorji Sherpa from the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. The Moists have cancelled their blockade from today. It's good news to all of us and the people who are travelling to Nepal. But the Seven Party of Nepal has announced a general strike the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, April.

NMMT's activities
Today the bandaidbox project, bandaidbox Charity Medical team and Flower trek team will be arriving in KTM with a National TV team of NZ. They are heading up to Kharikhola on 23rd of March for bandaidbox Charity Medical Camp at Kharikhola. Tomorrow we are doing a press conference at Manaslu Hotel.

The team has 15 member including one Korean doctor, 3 Nepalese doctors 3 nurses from NZ, 2 eye specialist from NZ + 2 from Austrailia and 4 volunteers. The Bandaidbox Medical Charity Medical Camp will be serving a free medial check up, dental check up, optometry check up, minor surgery with free medicine suppy at Kharikhola hospital.

This medical camp is our second camp and we are going to continue this type of Medical camps the coming years.

At the same time we have 12 peoples from NZ and Canada to support the medical camp. After the medical camp the support trek (Flower trek team) will be heading up to Mera Peak area for an adventure trek and the Medical team will be heading up to Everest Area.

Bandaidbox Project

www.bandaidbox.com project is launching Charity Medical Camp 2006 from 26th March to 7th April in Nepal (Everest region, Kharikhola village) to serve the poor viilagers at their door step with the help of NZ volunteers . The Medical Camp is operated at Kharikhola hospital. NZ National Television person 'John Newton' is visiting Kharikhola at the time to cover the news.Under this project we ( Nepal Myths and Mountain Trails (P) Ltd.) are also doing Flower Trek (Everest Adventure Trek) under the leadership of Alan Dean Jellyman.

In this spring we are doing a Dutch Dhauligiri Expedition.
