Hello skiers,
Cold temperatures overnight dried out the snowpack even more than it was yesterday. Most of the clean lines on the mountain were taken yesterday, but we still found a few patches of powder today. The rest of the hill is either great soft corduroy or soft skier chop. There were a few locations where the snow had set up a little, but most of the mountain remains in excellent condition.
We hit the High Traverse, Palisades, Peter’s Peril, the middle Sister, Scott Meadow, Expert Shortcut, Lower Out Father, Gentian, and a number of others that I cannot remember. The day began with clouds overhead, but cleared up about 10:30 with upper mountain temperatures rising to about 19 degrees.
The trip up tonight should be uneventful as the main roads are clean. Side roads remain covered with snow, but plowed.
Enjoy your day. Andy
