Hello skiers,
A quick daily update from Tahoe. We received a trace of snow overnight, with a little more falling this morning, before the sky stopped crying frozen tears. The mountain was heavy with clouds or fog most of the day making visibility a challenge. Flat light ruled the morning and continued into the afternoon. The skiing was pretty good with fresh tracks available most of the morning. Today was more like spring skiing with a soft spring like surface lying just underneath the thin layer of new snow. We had fun for awhile this morning turning slowly around tree tops, branches sticking up out of the thin pack, and small bushes. We all had our good skis on and none of us complained about hitting rocks or other protruding obstacles .
The sun is supposed to come out tomorrow, but I guess that is not what we really need at this point in time.
Enjoy your day. Andy
