Hello skiers,
Another depressing ski day at Alpine. It is pouring rain and has been doing so all day as well as most of last night. The temperature at the base is currently 41 with a cool and very windy 36 at the summit. Alpine is open for those that want to get water logged and slosh through puddles, but I am staying dry today.
I ran across an interesting local website yesterday. www.tahoetruckeenews.com. This site has local news stories, as well as links to local webcams located at River Ranch, Tahoe City, and Truckee. You can check the road conditions on using these live com shots.
Have a hot chocolate, read a good book by the fire, send out more holiday cards, or go see a movie today.
